We rigorously research and develop all our products through multiple iterations. We prototype them and test them to their specifications and for stability, flavor, appearance and the like until we get it right. Yes, all of our products are made in the USA! We try to source all components from North America and Europe due to their reliable regulatory oversight that requires adherence to recognized quality standards for components.
No, we use a USA based mid-sized contract manufacturer in the rural northeastern USA called Trividia. In order to be considered for the position as our manufacturer, they had to have a quality system that meets FDA requirements. Since our company culture values quality and FDA conformance, they had to have a clean quality record. They also had to have a culture that matches ours, any group we work with must value quality and customer safety over money.
We source our omega-3 from DSM, the largest producer of omega-3s in the world. We use one of their products called MEG-3:

Not the best taste or smell, but this HELPS — Our daughter takes this for ADHD. We are trying anything before putting her on meds. At first she HATED the taste. Now, she takes this twice a day LIKE A CHAMP!! she actually likes it, but it did take a minute.

Inedible — I bought this because it was recommended to me by my child’s doctor. The EPA and DHA content are what I was looking for so I was optimistic that this would be a good product. We had been using Nordic Naturals liquid fish oil and I will definitely be switching back to that.
I put the Neba Brain Booster Omega-3 in some greek honey yogurt which is what I had been doing with the other brand of fish oil. She took one bite and asked me what was in her yogurt with a disgusted look on her face. I told her it was a new brand and she told me she couldn’t eat it. I smelled the yogurt and it smelled terrible, very fishy. I think the lemonade flavoring is not enough to disguise the very fishy flavor. I wish I could return it.

Still on the fence — The taste has not been positive for my son but I make him take it anyway because I want to see if it is actually making a change in his focus. He chases it with orange juice, milk, or water and follows it with a Captain Calm tablet to get rid of the taste. Great product — I ordered this being skeptical that it wouldn’t work but it has. I’ve seen improvements with my sons school work and behavior. I was asked by my sons teachers and principal to take him to a doctor just so he could be put on medicine that he doesn’t need. I highly recommend this medicine, my son says It’s not the best tasting but he takes it every morning. I myself tasted it an it was alright not the best though.

We’ve seen improvement in son with ADHD — We were actually recommended this product from our son’s neurologist. He spoke very highly about it and suggested that we try it as a first step in treating our 4 (about to be 5) year old son’s ADHD. My wife and I have noticed a significant improvement in his ability to control his impulses and decision making. Even the staff at his daycare are noticing and we love the feedback. I will say he hated the flavor. We tried different juices to mix it in at first. After a few days of experimentation, we finally found that orange juice was the best at covering up the taste and now he takes it with no fight at all. We will continue to buy Brain Booster and are considering trying other products that Neba Health offers for our son.

Great Product, Flavor Not So Much — Our son’s Neuro recommened this product. Or son has no formal diagnosis due to age, but they are leaning towards severe ADHD and significant developmental delays. We were told to use for 3 months before we should expect a difference, and that seems pretty on target for our son. He still has issues, but this nutricuetical does seem to offset some of his issues, allowing him to focus and concentrate on activities better than before. The flavor is not great, but honestly I’m not sure you can ever make fish oil taste great. While the liquid works and we can easily get our son to take as part of his nightly routine, it may be beneficial to have a pill form, if possible for concentration, as he gets older.

We are glad he is able to tolerate Brain Booster. Here are some tips that might improve his experience. Don’t mix Brain Booster with food or drink. We use a masking agent that is emulsified with the oil. If you add Brain Booster to food, then the flavor mask can break out of emulsion and then: Fish! Second, keep Brain Booster in the fridge. Third, shake it till you make it! Make sure you vigorously shake the bottle each time. Hope this helps.

Tastes Great! — My little son will not swallow pills and finding and omega that would taste good and that he would drink was a challenge until I found Neba thru a Webinar. He will drink this without any hesitations and he will even lick the spoon at times. After much research this omega is well balance and in combination with good eating habits has helped my little one tremendously.

Best tasting one out there — Compared to other fish oils this one has the best ratio and highest concentration I have found. I give it to my son who is 6. He has been diagnosed with ADHD, tourette’s, and ODD. Unfortunately none of them are going to taste like a piece of candy, but you get better adsorption with the liquid versus tablets or gummies. I give it to my son in a syringe and he squirts it in his mouth and then takes a sip of water. We don’t have any problems with him taking it. We tell him it’s a gift from God to help his growing brain.

As to flavor: We suspect it’s the fish. Just kidding. It is the fish. We do our best to mask any fishy taste by using a super-scrubbed odorless and tasteless Omega-3 base called MEG-3(r) along with proprietary flavor masking agents. Nevertheless, some folks still taste fish.

Love this supplement! — We live in Canada and after searching for quite some time, I decided to pay the extra money to have this supplement sent to us. My 8 year old son, who has ADHD and some sensory issues, was afraid to try it because of the smell but my 10 year old daughter, who does not have ADHD, asked if she could take it to help her brain functioning since she had a spelling test that day. She started taking it regularly and feels like she can tell a real difference. This convinced my son and now they challenge each other to take it each morning. My only problem is to figure out how I can get in regularly up here in Canada!

Wonderful and preferred alternative to other Omega 3 products out there. — Speaking as a consumer and an ADHD specialist, I can say that this is one of the better supplements I’ve tried. While I’m not a nutritionist or dietitian, it appears to me that Neba has done a wonderful job of making this product taste as good as possible while minimizing additional ingredients. The taste is actually pretty remarkable when you consider that you are getting the Omega 3s from fish, which tend to have a pretty strong taste. As with any supplement, this is not a cure-all, but I’d like to think it offers some positive benefits. Having been trained as a clinician and a scientist, I have a decent understanding of the research on Omega 3s generally and see promise for their use with ADHD. Only time will tell as to how much of an impact these types of supplements will have, but what I can say I am reasonably confident that they can’t hurt. good omega 3 combination/ratio — It’s hard to find the right Omega 3 combinations or ratios that can work for adhd, so I was very happy to find this product! Good product — We heard about the benefits of fish oil for brain development and decided this would be good for our 6-year old son. So first we bought some fish oil gummy vitamins from a store. Easy to use, not too expensive. But later after a doctor visit, we realized that the EPA content in the gummies was only about 50mg and we should be shooting for 1,000mg a day – Oops! So we switched over to NEBA to get the desired dosage in one spoonful and have been doing so for months now. Our son likes the taste.

What we need — We wanted a fish oil supplement to help with our child’s brain development. We first looked at some of the gummy vitamins, but it turns out they mostly provide DHA, not EPA. Also, the dosage is very low! We settled on NEBA, which provides the dosage we were looking for in one spoonful. Our child likes the flavor.

Untill NEBA Omega 3 arrived, he takes it right away and said it tastes like ” ice cream” . Keeping it in the frig helps. Omega 3 concentrate EPA DHA — My son has ADHD and taking Omega 3 with the high level of EPA helps him with focus. It has been difficult to find this that he will actually take. The taste of this product is pleasant and he take it without any difficulty. I do recommend keeping it in the refrigerator. I tried the supplement myself and had an itchy hive reaction. The bottle is labeled that there are eggs and seafood but not in such a way to alert consumers of a possible allergic reaction. Taste is acceptable to 7 year old — Amazingly my son doesn’t mind the taste. We have only been taking it for about 4 weeks now. I am not sure if it is having any effect, I do believe that the EPA & DHA are good for the brain. I won’t mind trying some for myself. I am not ADHD, like my son, but especially as I get older, I do try to find ways to keep my brain sharp. Plus when I take my omega 3, he is encouraged to take his as well. I only give it 4 stars, because I am not sure of its impact yet. I do wish the bottle came in a bigger size. We seems to run out in a few weeks. I sometimes give it to my 5 year old as well, simply as an omega 3 supplement. He does not have ADHD. However, he is more picky about the taste.

Just starting out, so far so good! — This is my son’s first year at school taking no medication for his ADHD, and although its been an overall positive experience, there have been some rough patches as well. We got this hoping to find a natural supplement to help him focus on his work and to help his organizational skills. I will say at first he did not like the taste, but we put in in the refrigerator and that helped tremendously. Doing well — I began taking my Neba health Omega-3 concentrate about 3 weeks ago. I am happy to report that it is FAR easier using this liquid than taking another huge tablet to supplement specific health needs! Tastes good — I bought this product because of the research correlating ADHD and Omega 3 levels. Neither of my children like the foods that supply Omega-3s nor do they like taking ” horse pills” , and I was desperately looking for a pleasant tasting liquid supplement.
Having tried it myself, I now find this an easy way to help my children get their nutrients without (much) complaining). The only thing that bothers them is the milky color of the liquid. The taste is not an issue.

The coloring: Blah. We know, right: The color looks bland and kinda not so appealing. We decided against adding food coloring because: 1) the all natural food colorings we were going to use were made out of crushed up beetles (which is gross), and they are known to cause severe allergic reactions in a very small group of folks, and they fade over time; 2) some studies show that artificial food colorings (which don’t fade) may exacerbate hyperactivity; and 3) food colorings in liquids may react with other ingredients in unexpected ways possibly producing unhealthy compounds. So, we decided –against the advice of our food chemist — to go with NO food colorings. The result is that the liquid has a tan look to it. Not super attractive. We get 😉

Tastes good — I bought this product because of the research correlating ADHD and Omega 3 levels. Neither of my children like the foods that supply Omega-3s nor do they like taking ” horse pills” , and I was desperately looking for a pleasant tasting liquid supplement.
Having tried it myself, I now find this an easy way to help my children get their nutrients without (much) complaining). The only thing that bothers them is the milky color of the liquid. The taste is not an issue.

tastes good — I was a little cautious when trying it for the first time, but was pleasantly suprised. It tastes ok and there is no after taste like some other brands I have tried. Still trying to get my 11 year old grandson to try it but that is a work in progress. I keep it in the refrigerator so taking it cold makes a difference for me, but I guess that is just a preference. The ratio of EPA and DHA is excellent and so I feel like I am getting the proper balance. I would buy it again.

We take it every day — With a lot of hard work, multiple formulas and taste trials we developed NEBA Omega-3 to be scientifically-based, great tasting, and easy to take. Affordability was an additional design requirement. Some medical foods for ADHD are outrageously expensive. We felt we could create a better non-prescription dietary supplement for brain health at a much much lower cost. Also, we wanted to package NEBA Omega in glass under nitrogen, in smaller bottles to ensure that our Omega 3 would stay fresh until the last teaspoon.
